The school provides hostel facilities for boys and girls admitted to classes Nursery and above. A resident Principal, assisted by a Vice Principal, Senior Co-ordinator, Boarding Superintendent, Dormitory In-charges and female care-takers look after the children, their living conditions, meals, studies, games, sports and co-curricular activities. Senior children are encouraged to manage their own affairs and are also given training in corporate life by assisting the supervisory staff in taking care of the younger children and by making an effort to foster an atmosphere of love and affection amongst the children.
Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are provided and all children, Principal and members of the staff share the same food. Fresh, wholesome and balanced food is served at all times and the teachers on duty, who dine with children, see to it that the children eat everything and are served properly.
Special care is taken to ensure the health of the children. The School Doctor, assisted by a trained resident Nursing Sister, looks after the children. The school provides necessary medical aid in the school hospital and cases of serious illness, if any, are admitted to the local hospital. Children are protected against typhoid, tuberculosis, cholera, etc. Oral, dental and eye care is compulsory and is provided by specialists, at parents' expenses.
Physical training, games, gymnastics and agility exercises are a regular feature of the daily routine.
The school has classes from Nursery to 12 for children of the age group 4-16 years. The strength of each class is not allowed beyond 25, as to enable personalized attention.
